About Me: Catherine (Cathy) Curtis

Born and raised in Brockville, I am the youngest daughter of Cheif Gerry Curtis (Retired) and Marjorie Godkin-Curtis.

I had a previous Real Estate career of over 15 years. I held various positions: Sales Representative, Associate Broker, and Branch Manager. I was promoted to Sales Trainer for a National Firm working in Toronto. After competing for a teaching position with OREA, I was appointed as one of the facilitators that taught the courses leading to Registration in the Province of Ontario.

I left Real Estate and enjoyed a 20+ year career in Nursing. I worked in Mental Health and managed a team to assist seniors to remain in their homes. It was my job to advocate for these seniors and to assist in providing community services and ensuring that they had the support needed in moving to different levels of care.

I have returned to Real Estate with a passion for providing Service Excellence. I am most comfortable with all age groups, but truly enjoy first-time home buyers and seniors looking to downsize. As in my nursing career, I am able to empathize with and support our seniors in some difficult decisions. I believe in personal service and face-to-face negotiations. As technology has grown in leaps and bounds it still can not replace a human effect.
